Since its establishment, the primary school section has adopted the policy
of “relieving parents worries and help children’s development”, by taking
a humanistic approach and cultivating students in an all-round way.
The leading team spearheaded by the headmaster Mr. Li, a nationally famous
expert in primary education and the former headmaster of the Nanjing Langya
Road Primary School. With a practical, equitable and down-to-earth spirit,
The faculty includes a galaxy of 50 elite teachers and working staff members.
They abide by the principles of being parents’ friends, and partners in
their working relationship. They have their faithful promise to enable
all students to develop in an all-round way, and to plan children future.
Helping and respecting each other, being good friends, and developing
mutually are what learners experiencing on campus.
The primary school section always place priority on students’ safety and
education quality. Its rich experience and good rules ensure itself a
continuous development.
The education we offer, the approach we take with students and the systems
we have in place, reflect the developmental needs of students at this

The NJCBS is committed to providing all students with the opportunity

enduring understandings that have global relevance and importance, becoming
informed in local and international affairs.

They will be courageous and articulate in defending those things in
which they believe.

respect and tolerance toward others and towards divergent views and
cultures. These attributes will extend to a sense of responsibility
and action within the community and globally.

These are central components to the curriculum and are non-subject specific.
We believe that children learn better and retain more when
they are actively involved in what they are doing. At the NJCBS l, everything
that is happening in a child's experience is connected together by a common
thread or theme, making it easier for students to relate to the concepts
being taught, maintain their concentration and grasp understanding. For
example, if they read about the rainforest, categorize rainforest animals,
sing about the rainforest and draw a picture in art then they find it
easier to get a more complete picture and understanding.
